The Treasures of Konstantino

The story of Konstantino and Konstantino's Treasures. Konstantino was born amidst the splendor and magnificence of one of the world's oldest civilizations, in Athens Greece.

He said, “My father was a huge influence in my life… he taught me constantly about Greek philosophy, history and art.”

Konstantino incorporated his love of the richness of Greek history and myth and turned it into a passion and fascination for Greek inspired jewelry designs.

"This is why our jewelry is different from any other." he says. "Our designs are timeless and universal. They come from the core of civilization and the elements of the modern world"

Greek artists and artisans have given praise to the Greek Goddess of Love and Beauty, Aphrodite for centuries. Konstantino has created his line of modern jewelry with an ancient Greek flair as his own personal tribute to the spirit of this goddess.

Konstantino has the following to say about the ways that the glory of Greece has influenced his designs.

“Greece, for me, is a land of magnificent contrasts. Blinding light and forbidding darkness. Crashing seas and arid farmland. Frenetic cosmopolitan cities amid ancient ruins and lost temples.

As a boy, my playground was the architecture of the Acropolis, the Temple of Delphi. My village, Melitea, belonged to the warrior Achilles of Troy. Knowing this... that this famous warrior from Greek history had actually lived in MY birthplace had a lifelong effect on me.

All these ancient elements are etched in my soul... so every piece I design possesses my essence, my experiences, and my passion for Greece.”

Konstantino has revived the ancient techniques of engraving and etching in his own designs. Each piece reflects a timeless elegance and devotion to craftsmanship that is purely Greek, and purely Konstantino.

"Dare to have the courage to love" is inscribed around the inside of a lustrous pearl ring.

Intaglios were images cut into precious stones by Greek artisans and given to Roman Emperors. This art is brought to life as a magnificently carved Pegasus, the winged stallion of Greek mythology, cut into an onyx stone.

Natural Beauty...The gorgeous, delicate coloring of the Mother of Pearl reflects the colors of sunset clouds when set with a raised stone. The Greek Orthodox inscription reminds its wearer to "Have Faith".
